So far this little peanut is a COMPLETE trouble maker! (I often wonder if she is going to come out with horns or like the kid in the movie the omen....) I have been in and out of the doctors office so much they are going to have stamp my name on a brick outside.... MOST importantly, besides causing a lot of drama and freaking the crap out of her parents-to-be all the time. "Baby x" is doing fine and staying where she belongs...each day she is in there is a blessing!
At home things are BORING and tedious (at least for me anyway) .... a lot of waiting and wondering about what will happen.
To keep everyone on their toes, I decided to let June play with large knives over Christmas.....
Lili started playing basketball (which is almost as scarey as June playing with knives)........
I have started to resemble this......
Sexy I know............................................
We spent most of holidays at home, and were lucky that family was able to come to us during the holidays. Although Adam and I did sneak out for a bit on New Years Eve... It was very safe because if the baby came flying out, our friend Jen was there to assist in the delivery......
On NYE for fun my friends like to dress up hippopotamus sized women and attempt to disguise them as Polynesians.....
It was REALLY good for me to see some friends and feel semi-normal again. Lately, I REALLY have missed my friends, (running) (riding), church (running)(riding), & bible study group (running) (riding)....
I had someone ask me about a week ago, if I was "ready" for the baby yet... At first I thought what a stupid question... I have been stuck in bed for the last 14 weeks umm YES!!!!!!! But honestly when I thought about it, then looked at the babies room which was covered in dust, since I refused to go in their for 14 weeks.... I realized that I have been so convinced that something bad was going to happen to her, I never really let myself think she might just be perfectly fine... So 2 weeks ago, I finally figured out that she is actually in there... and going to come out... soon !! SHOCKER I KNOW!!!!!
So I started doing stuff like order a car seat, hang some curtains, my Mom and Kathy went CRAZY and bought a ton of newborn clothes which was awesome, since we had decided we were NOT having more kids after June, got rid of EVERYTHING, then changed our minds when pregnancy amnesia set in..... (This time we are D-O-N-E so she better be adorable or I want a refund...) "Super Sue"came and painted "Baby x's" room for me!
THANKS SUE!!!!!!!!!!!!
So we are getting there, starting to get my mind wrapped around an actual baby is coming soon!
Adam and I are VERY thankful for so many people lately. We are overwhelmed by the kindness of many friends, family, neighbors, and church members have really helped us juggle the kids around to dance & school activities, helped with meals, helped with the horses.... ect... Adam & I are very blessed and EXTREMELY appreciative :)
